Farish

Today was our ward activity! We went to this Air Force park called Farish in Woodland Park. It is the funnest place ever in the winter. The lakes are completely frozen over so we were all out on it playing broom hockey, soccer, and there was ice fishing too. Lots to do, and it is so much fun. Sledding was not a favorite of Zoey. She hated it. Maybe next year. Liam loved to be pulled on a sled, and Zoey loved to fish. She got in to a snowball fight, and had a blast. Take a look that the pics! I love the one of Damon and his clone.

Tomorrow we go to warm weather. Its funny that we go from playing in the snow all day to 75 degrees. GO ARIZONA!

Yesterday was a AMAZING Day.

I would like to have a moment of silence for our old home. It is finally done. Yes my friends, yesterday, at precisely 4:52 PM all of the final closing documents were singed, the buyers loan funded, and we are FREEEE!! The family who bought our home has two little boys the same age as ours. I am glad it is going to them and not to the other investor that wanted to buy it. To celebrate, we went to Culvers and ate and ate and ate. We love custard. Yum.

After we went home, Damon took the kids and I went to the mall for some retail therapy. I was so stoked when I found a pair of Michael Kors red patent leather ballet flats that I had almost bought 2 months ago but couldn't justify the $120 on sale for $22.50. Yeah baby! I love Dillards when they have sales like that. I also got a really cute pair of brown ballet flats that were $17. Two pairs of shoes that were both over $100 a pair, for $42 and change!

A very good day. Our house sold, and a shoe sale. Can't get much better than that!

Our Bottomless Pit

We have graduated to having to purchase 2 kids meals now. After our experience at chick-fil-a, we now realize how much Liam can eat. He has now coined the nickname, "The bottomless pit". Let me tell you the story...

Zoey was insistant that she wanted a 'krabby patty', so I got her a chicken sandwich, hoping to convince her that it was indeed a krabby patty. Just in case, I also ordered a nuggets kids meal. Zoey ended up eating like 1/4 of the sandwich, and dowing the whole container of choclate milk. So I decided to see if Liam would eat the nuggets. Oh boy, the light went on and it didn't go off. He ate the entire kids meal. He is 10 1/2 months. Since then I have really been noticing how much he eats. Tuesday night we made pizza. Zoey ate 1/2 of a piece, Liam ate 2 pieces. For lunch today he ate 4 nuggets, a whole carton of yogurt, and is polishing it of with juice and cheerios. He also ate a bowl of oatmeal 2 1/2 hour ago. He's a growing boy, and is Father could not be prouder. "Thats my boy!"

The Weekend

What a busy one. Our house is finally closing. After what I think is the worlds longest contract, thursday is D-day. It has been under contract for 5 1/2 months. Buyers got their funding, title company is good to go, we close Thursday. So this weekend was moving everything else out, and cleaning, and we are done! Nothing stands in our way now. I am so thankful that everything is finally coming to pass. We had lots of help from friends, which was wonderful.

Zoey made me so sad on Monday. I went over there to check it out, and I took Zoey. She went into her pink polkadot room and would not leave. It broke my heart. She cried for 20 minutes about her 'dot room'. That was the only time I cried in this whole process. Now that its really happening, I can't help but feel sad. Zoey's room was so cute, and Liam's nursery. We brought him home to that house. I desgined that house. Picked out everything from the cieling to the floor, and everything in between. It is a beautiful home. I hope people buying it love it as much as I did.

MY BROTHERS ENGAGED!!!!

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! My brothers engaged!! To Breaelle!!! My favorite girl in the whole world is going to be my sister!!!! I set them up too!! I am a matchmaker!! They are so cute together. I am so happy for them, they are perfect.

Zoey's New Hair

Zoey got a new hair cut today. She looks so grown up. She did so great, and kept saying through the hair cut, "Look Mommy! I'm so prettiful!" She loved it, but was sick of holding still after about 15 minutes. She wanted to be short! I thought she would want to keep it long! Ain't she cute!?

Valentines day was good. Zoey had her pre-school party, and is up to her knees in candy. Liam loved eating his mader valentine from Grandpa and Grandma, and Zoey would not let her Cinderella Valentine go. We went to build a bear for Zoey's valentine, and she picked a black bear and named it 'heart'. Honestly her favorite thing is the box it came in. We had fun, I made rack of lamb for dinner which should have been named fat of lamb. There was seriously 3 ounces of edible meat on 2 racks. Thats the last time I buy lamb from wal-mart. We ended up eating a romantic pizza dinner by candle light. Its was great. I made a cute slide show for Damon, and we gorged ourselves on chocolate. I love it. Go Valentines.

Liam learned how to play catch. Its more like Damon rolling the ball to him, him catching it and squealing in delight, and then sparatically waving his arms until the ball rolls in some direction towards Dad. It is the cutest thing to watch. You can't help but smile.

Happy Valentines Day!

Hope everyone is having a great Valentines. I got breakfast in bed today, made my Damon and Zoey. Heart shaped pancakes. It was so fun to see Zoey run in all proud of herself and yell, "Happy Balentines Day Mommy! Wake Up!! I made caycakes!" She had a blast at her pre-school Valentines party and is now eating her weight in candy while watching one of our numerous barbie movies.

So Liam is a baby genius. What 10 month old baby can firgure out how to open LATCHED CABINETS!? Mine. Yeah, he emptied out all of Zoey's leap-pad stuff three times today. He gets into everything. And I mean EVERYTHING!! So frusterating.
