Update of the year...

OK- more like the last month or so...

Ready? Deep Breath....aaaannnndddd here we go!

We had our first zoo trip of the summer. I love the zoo. L got brave and fed the giraffes... and then didn't want to leave. I thought it was so funny how he was clutching his trains the whole time.

Ewww! Those tongues totally gross me out still...

LLLOOOOVVEEE this photo

L feeding the giraffe while holding the trains... Talent, my friends, talent...

Z is done with pre-school. She had her final program/mothers day presentation. She has grown so much in pre-school. She went from not knowing the alphabet to reading three letter word books in 9 months. I am so proud of her. She played the dog in the gingerbread man play the class put on and gave D and I our mothers and fathers day gifts. Mrs. Amy has them fill out a book with questions about their moms. Here are some of my favorites.

Zoey, playing the dog. Isn't she adorable?

What is her favorite thing to do at home? Cook

This photo of L cracks me up. He literally said "Mom. Ho choo choo" (mom hold choo choo) Look how serious he is!

It makes me happy when she...plays a song for me on her violin

If your Mom could go on a trip or vacation, where would she like to go? In a car to to the mall...

How old is your Mom? Five

How tall is she? Four feet

How much does she weigh? 62 pounds.

I can't believe that she is in kindergarten next year. Every time I think about it, I get teary eyed. The last day we went to the zoo, and it was a blast.

L and trains at zoo, again...

Memorial Day Weekend was AWESOME!!!!

My little brother Cody and his wife Breaelle came out from Utah. They called on Friday at 9 left at 11, and arrived at 8 am on Saturday. The whole weekend was full of barbecue, bike riding, pedicures, parties, the bachelorette, jon and kate plus 8, and laughing. Lots of that. Hangin' with the Taylors, and parting with their newest graduate of the family, BETH!! One of my old laurels, and one of my great friends here in CO. We went to 10th ward on Sunday. I miss that ward so much. I had an impromptu photo shoot at the memorial day bbq. We played Frisbee and rode bikes in the rain, and we got our mountain bikes out for the first time in seriously like, 3 years... I was so sad to see them leave, We need to live closer... My kids love them so so so much. Z still asks when they are coming back. L loves Cody. He is like a roller coaster in human form. What a great aunt and uncle my kids have.

D and Z riding. I love this photo

Cody and L. C is riding my bike, and it looks kinda silly... but L LOVED it.

Run Percy Run!!

This is the impromptu photo shoot. I love this little baby, who, ironically enough, is named Cody...

Summer is in full swing. I love it. Our backyard is done, and I am looking for patio furniture. Our kids never leave the sand box. We snack on cherries and strawberries all day. I am growing tomatoes, bell peppers, squash, zucchini, thyme, basil, parsley, and a ton of flowers. AND I haven't killed any of them yet. In fact, I have 18 tomatoes on the vine, and 3 bell peppers. I have to say that this is going to be an amazing summer.
